Customer Safety Role

Pre-Onboarding Safety Policy

What every customer must know and agree to before booking a service on JustTap

Before your customer account is activated, you are required to read, understand, and follow all the rules below. These rules keep every JustTap service provider safe, and they apply equally to you.

Booking Honesty

  • Select the correct service — do not misrepresent the type of service needed.
  • Provide an accurate address and location.
  • Describe the problem or requirement correctly.
  • Share relevant photos or details wherever required.
  • Never give false information that could put the provider in an unsafe situation.

Provider Verification (Your Duty)

  • Check the provider's name before the service starts.
  • Verify the provider's profile and photo.
  • Match the booking details.
  • Complete any required OTP/verification step.
  • If the person who arrives does not match the booked provider — do not let the service start, and report it to JustTap immediately.

Home & Access Safety

  • Do not leave cash, jewellery, or documents openly accessible.
  • Keep children away from any active or dangerous work area.
  • Keep pets safely under control.
  • Give the provider access only to the area the service requires — never to private rooms.

Conduct Towards Provider — Zero Tolerance

As a customer, you must never do any of the following to a service provider:

  • Abuse, use foul language, insult, or humiliate.
  • Threaten or physically intimidate.
  • Engage in unwanted touching, sexual comments/advances, or dating pressure.
  • Make repeated unwanted calls/messages or engage in stalking.
  • Misuse the provider's contact number/address for personal or relationship purposes.

Payment & Fairness

  • Use only approved JustTap payment methods.
  • Never share your OTP, PIN, CVV, or password.
  • Never pressure a provider into a forced cash payment.
  • Do not make fake bookings, repeatedly cancel as punishment, or arrange off-platform deals.
  • Do not submit false complaints, fake evidence, or fake damage claims.

Your Right to Refuse Service

  • You may refuse service if: the provider's identity does not match the booking; the provider behaves in an unauthorized, threatening, abusive, or inappropriate manner; the provider lacks the required qualification; or you have a genuine safety concern.

Service Provider Safety Role

Pre-Onboarding Safety Policy

What every service provider must know and agree to before onboarding and verification on JustTap

Before your provider account is activated and verified, you are required to read, understand, and follow all the rules below. These rules keep every JustTap customer safe, and they apply equally to you.

Identity & Account Integrity

  • Perform services only through your own verified JustTap account.
  • Never let anyone else use your account — account sharing or identity substitution is a serious violation.
  • Never send an unauthorized person to a customer's home.
  • Never give false information about your qualifications or experience.
  • Never misrepresent a required certification or license.

Conduct on Customer Premises

  • Go only into the area required for the service.
  • Do not unnecessarily touch the customer's personal belongings.
  • Do not touch documents, jewellery, or cash unless the service specifically requires it.
  • Do not take unnecessary photos/videos — only relevant work-area or before/after evidence.
  • Do not have unnecessary interaction with the customer's family members.
  • Never enter a private area under a false pretext.

Conduct Towards Customer — Zero Tolerance

As a service provider, you must never do any of the following to a customer:

  • Abuse, insult, humiliate, or threaten.
  • Engage in unwanted touching, sexual comments/jokes, or advances.
  • Demand sexual or personal favours in exchange for service or payment.
  • Misuse the customer's contact info for personal or relationship purposes.
  • Stalk or repeatedly contact the customer after the service is done.

Right to Refuse Unsafe Work

You have the right to refuse or stop a service for reasons such as:

  • An unsafe environment (gas leakage, fire risk, exposed high-voltage, structural instability, dangerous height, toxic chemicals, aggressive animals, etc.)
  • A context involving illegal activity.
  • A serious threat situation.
  • Absence of required qualification, equipment, or PPE.
  • A misrepresented or wrong job.

* A customer cannot force a provider to continue unsafe work.

Pricing, Material & Fairness

  • Do not create hidden charges or fake invoices.
  • Take the customer's approval before additional work, except in a genuine emergency.
  • Do not pass off fake/used parts as new, and do not inflate prices.
  • Do not steal or misuse the customer's property, cash, jewellery, or documents.

High-Risk Service Categories

  • Electrical, gas, AC/refrigeration, welding, construction, pest control, height work, heavy machinery, security, and child/elder-care type services may require additional verification, certification, and SOPs — these must be confirmed at the time of onboarding.
